Speed Conditioning


Purpose

To teach how to run to maximize acceleration and to teach deceleration so the athlete can control their body weight at maximum speed.


Why We Do It

Sports are played with a lot of stop and starts and changing of direction. The more the nervous system is challenged to move at a faster rate of speed the better the athlete will recruit the necessary muscle fiber type to perform.


What We Do

IAATB will improve form, body control with the right kind of training that will recruit the fast twitch fibers, which will enhance acceleration and speed.
